OPEN CALL: Rotterdam - Het Wilde WetenWho?

1 Czech artist (individual) with good knowledge of English*When?

Het Wilde Weten is able to organise an artist talk at the beginning of the stay and an exhibition or presentation in project space at the end of the stay.

Het Wilde Weten also provides studio / accommodation:

  • 30 sq m work- and living space that is furnished with a chair, loft bed, wardrobe and a large table for desk related work
  • private shower and shared toilet adjacent to the studio
  •  Towels and bedlinen is provided for
  • Wireless Internet
  • Shared kitchen on ground floor (with other artists of Het Wilde Weten)
  • bike
  • The artist needs to bring a deposit of €200 in cash, which will be given back at the end of the residency

FUTURA provides:

  • travel costs up to 6,000 CZK
  • 20,000 CZK stipend for living/ production cost

OPEN CALL: New York - Art In General (VARP NY Artist in Residency Program)Who?

  • 1 artist from Czech republic, 1 artist from Slovakia, 1 artist from Poland, 1 artist from Hungary with good knowledge of English both spoken and written
  • not students (applicants enrolled in BA or MA programs at any university can’t apply)
  • applicants have not received art scholarships in New York in the past (preference)

When?

The dates of the residency are approximately 3 months from June 25th – September 15th, 2017

What?

Artists will be provided living/ working space and necessary assistance and curatorial guidance by Art in General. Financial support for each artist is €4,000 per project. The sum shall cover the liv­ing and travel costs as well as other costs related to the residency.

OPEN CALL: A.I.R. FUTURA Prague - Art project in Ceramics & ClayWho?

  • 1 artist with a project based on innovative use of ceramics and/or clay as art material - we do not require any previous experience or skills, but strong artistic vision
  • based on a final agreement of both sides resulting artworks may or may not be exhibited at FUTURA Centre for Contemporary Art in the following year of 2018

When?

residency dates: November 1st – November 30th, 2017

What?

FUTURA will provide:

  • living space in Prague’s Smíchov district
  • ceramic studio in Prague’s Žižkov district - 100 m2 studio with all equipment and kiln - 280 l - 72 x 64 x 65 cm
  • ceramist Eva Pelechová will be disponible for all necessary advisory, assistance and fabrication 5 days per week during the residency period
  • 10,000 CZK for related material cost
  • artist has to cover travel and living costs as much as all other additional costs
