The Lobkowicz Collections are among the oldest and largest art holdings in the Czech Republic, consisting of nearly 20,000 moveable objects. Their significance lies in their comprehensive nature, which reflects the cultural, social, political and economic life of Central Europe over six centuries.

About the Job:

Lobkowicz Events Management is seeking a creative, motivated and goal-oriented individual to fill the position of Director of Communications & Membership for The Lobkowicz Collections, the Czech Republic’s oldest and largest privately owned art collection.

Qualification requirements:

Experience: min. 3 years as Project Manager or similar management position in PR, Marketing and/or Communications Education: min. 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications from fully accredited university Languages: Native speaker of English (or native speaker fluency); proficiency in Czech preferred Computer skills: Windows OS; Microsoft Office: Word & Outlook (full proficiency), Excel & PowerPoint (basic)

The successful candidate will have:

 - Exceptional writing and speaking skills, with the ability to tailor a message according to the audience, finding the right “voice” to deliver effectively a variety of different information - Superior interpersonal skills and a positive, team player attitude - Goal and solution-oriented mentality, with a creative, think-outside-the-box approach to the needs of the job and any problems that arise - Ability to manage multiple projects at once, to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines

Position responsibilities:

Communications & PR:  - oversee all incoming press requests - write and distribute press releases about newsworthy Collections events - oversee the writing and/or editing of all English-language texts - 7-12 issues of The Lobkowicz Collections newsletter:  establish the annual editorial calendar, write and edit each issue, design and oversee the layout with the graphic designer - oversee all Lobkowicz web communication: Lobkowicz website and social media presence

Brand Management:  - ensure faithful adherence to all Brand Manual guidelines, with particular attention paid to established verbal, written and visual principles

Membership:  - maintain current member relationships and actively recruit new members - develop dynamic programming for 3-4 annual Members Events - collaborate with the Museum Shop/e-Shop to offer membership promotions - ensure that the categories/benefits structure remains current and fresh, incentivizing both potential members to buy and current members to renew

VIP & other visitors:  - present a polished, professional image at all times and serve as the designated Collections representative during VIP and other special visits - deliver speeches in absence of executive-level management (CEO & Director)

Special projects and collaborations as assigned
